YouXL is full of opportunities for you and your child and a lot of the content on the website can help you both at the same time.
By helping you to understand the opportunities and challenges available we think you’ll be better able to support your child to make the right decisions about their career choices. Use the website with your child and explore the information on both your section and theirs to get the most from it.
In the Educators section of the website, a lot of the content is restricted until schools register and subscribe to the website. Once a school has subscribed to the website, your child can have access to more and more information as the subscription level increases. We encourage you to talk to your child’s teachers about YouXL and ask them to consider using it as a resource to develop your childs employability skills and to ensure that they receive good quality careers information, advice and guidance.
The important thing for you is to BE Engaged in YouXL in whatever way you can be. You may also be in employment which means you can also access the Employers section to learn more about how you and your colleagues can help.
